With reference to previous correspandawoe (40448)

regarding the claim of Wen Tip to be a British subject by birth

in Hong Kong, I am directed by Secretary 142 Geerge Cave to say

for the information of Mr. Secretary Long that after the receipt

your letter of the 22nd August forwarding a Despatch frem
